On the Horizon for 2011

Well, as usual it has been quite some time since I last wrote anything here on my blog, but I was browsing over all my online profiles and figured I should give this another update. Looks like I haven't been on here in more than a year.

So, lets see what has happened in that time:
I finally graduated with my Bachelor of Business Administration Degree from Georgia State University back in December of 2010. I majored in Marketing with a minor in Psychology. The job search has been somewhat strained, although I am working part time at Life Time Fitness as a Member Services Team Member. I am still looking for a more traditional job related to my major, so basically a job involving use of marketing, advertising, and other related skills would be ideal.

I haven't been able to take a vacation this year, and probably won't do much, but work and look for a more traditional job throughout the rest of the year. Hopefully I will be able to go on vacation and see my aunts, uncles, and cousins in Brazil sometime in December which should be really fun. Well, that's about all for now, maybe I'll have another update sooner if I have any new exciting news.

New Job and New Adventures

What up world, life is good! So I just got a new job at LA Fitness in Alpharetta as a Sales Counselor. I'm really excited to start working and my first day of training is tomorrow at noon. I'm not exactly sure what to expect, but my brother tells me that his sales training for the company he works for MFS (My Fitness Solution) is based somewhat on principles his boss Fadi Malouf learned while he worked for LA Fitness.

My brother is the Executive Director of Training at MFS and has several trainers that work under him. My brother and I did not always get along, but once we got older our relationship became much better. He called me yesterday and asked if I wanted to work out. I really didn't feel like working out, but he said he was in the area near my apt. so I obliged his offer. As usual he kicked my butt while we worked out, but hey if you don't sweat and get sore it's probably not that good of a work out any way.

Well, that's bout all I can think to blog for now, so I'm signing off. Later world and Frank, thanks for all your support and constant inspiration to drive me to succeed and overcome any and all obstacles!
